From Kenya to Alaska, Forest has been teaching international workshops with his spouse, Kristi Odom, since 2018. Forest has been a photography teacher and educator for photography clubs as well as photo conventions (including Photoplus in New York). He has worked as a photographer and videographer on three campaigns for Nikon (Z9, Z8 and Nikkor 400 2.8) which has taken him to Yellowstone, Rocky Mountains, as well as Ecuador.
Behind the camera.
Forest uses his camera to share his love of adventure and to inspire people to get outdoors. He is all about helping people have life-changing experiences in the natural world and giving them the tools to help them create portfolio images in those locations. Not only is Forest a great photography teacher, but with a background rooted in outdoor education, he knows how to make sure everyone is comfortable in the outdoors, even in the sub-arctic. For years he has been a rock climbing guide, even going so far to guide adventurous travelers in Alaska's glaciers.
